MEET YOUR DESIGNER

I received my Interior Design three-year certification at Ricks College in 1993 and finished my bachelor’s in business from BYU Idaho in 2017.

Despite the gap in my education, I’ve never lost my passion for learning. While raising my four children, I found my respite in curating a space for my home and assisting family and friends to do the same. Being a full-time mom led me to take a break from intense involvement with design for a while and getting back up to date on techniques took careful thought and study. My love for the elements of design never faded and I found great joy in returning to my roots as a designer and getting back into the thick of it all.

With my children grown, I could leap back into full-time design. Being an independent design studio comes with its own challenges. My education in business and design and my determination to succeed helped me launch into a career I love.

CONCEPT DESIGN

In the Concept Design phase, we’ll explore your home, how you live, and your dream goals. I’ll then take all that information and insights we’ve discussed and create a vision, called a concept design, for your dream home. Including, color, feel, function, space planning, and budget assessment.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

In the Design Development Phase, we dive deeper, crafting every aspect of your comprehensive design.

From possible renovations to the selection of furniture and decor, I cover all the details.

This includes material specifications, simple drawings, furniture layout, as well as the final touches of furnishings and decor, ensuring every detail of the design contributes to the vision we’ve created together.

IMPLEMENTATION

In the optional Implementation Phase, we bring your design to life.

For furniture and decor projects, I’ll handle the ordering, tracking, and installation, meticulously bringing each design element into place.

For renovations, I’ll meet with the contractor and talk through the design. While I am not a project manager I do work to ensure that our design is ready for implementation by those you hire to complete the work.
